Fine reading last night by Brian Catling who read at SVP with Vahni
Capildeo. Ms Capildeo's work was recommended by BC; it was her first
reading. Would that I had been as composed the first time I read. (I think
Harold Wilson was PM then)
The poem, Kara Gate, which he read, will be published in a future edition of
Signal Passed at Danger magazine
The next SVP reading is this Friday. Sorry to disrupt your patterns, but
that was the date the Finnish Institute wanted right from the start when
this was set up last Spring
So Anselm Hollo, Tomi Kontio and Riina Katajavuori - reading their own
poetry and Anselm reading translations
Handsome booklet organised by the Institute
Please come along and support the gig to welcome our Finnish colleagues. If
I were flown to Helsinki to read (some hope) I'd like to see a chunky
audience
See you there
Upstairs, 3 Cups, Sandland St, London WC 1 - 8 pm for 8.15 - don't
underestimate the delays public transport can impose
NB The SVP website cannot be updated, possibly not even viewed yet, due to
the dogs breakfast being made of hardware upgrade by the service provider.
My support adviser, Ron, says it's not his fault. Have a nice day, now
