Bad health bans me from conducting a discussion with Kona at length.
I fully agree about choosing audiences because every poem I write wrestles
with the problem of what potential audience it might have. I am pushing for
the avant garde to become much more open in its variety of accessibilty
(potential audiences) and am consistently following my precepts in my own
work. Not very impressed with the remark about Nietszche - just a quotation
from a book, doesn't make it true, and it doesn't really sound true in terms
of poetic history. I mean just because Derrida, etc, etc. I might as easily
say:
By contorting the lumens
of his vision, Nietszche
saw the future
through his own asshole:
it was the wracked face
of the auto-sadistic
Antonin Artaud.
Best
