For web designers the upgrade is well worth it. Being able to
restrain the pallette to web colours is a big advantage over having
to convert the entire image, plus the pallette will detail colour
values in HEX too (which I don't think it did in the previous
version).
Adobe Image Ready (while a tad unstable) is an excellent application
for Web Designers in terms of the image slicing, although I'm not
convinced about it's 'optimization'...
