Dear All,
I have been working with Gemma Wright, Michael Noble and others in
the Social Studies Department at Oxford University to try and gather
indicators about taffic for the revised Index of Local Deprivation
for DETR. We have not managed to find any consistent data sources at
Ward level or on a grid for the UK. This is hampering the inclusion
of indicators about the environmental effects of traffic.
Does anyone have any ideas about sources of information (from
local authorites or elsewhere) that might give us traffic volumes
(ideally non-local traffic) or road densities?
All suggestions gratefully received. Apologies for cross-posting.
