The new millenium will present many opportunities and challenges for
highways and transportation. The morning session of this seminar
will look at the changing nature of procurement and delivery of
highway schemes. The afternoon session will concentrate on
initiatives to achieve optimisation of the transportation network by
looking at some specific examples from around the Country.
Speakers
The eminent speakers have a wide range of experience and success in
their particular fields and should stimulate lively discussion.

There will be an exhibition of relevant products and services. If

How to Get There
This is a change of venue for the Branch Seminar. The Viking Moat
House Hotel is centrally situated in North Street, York, within a few
minutes walk of the Railway Station. For those wishing to travel by
car there are a limited number of pre-bookable car parking spaces at
£2.50 each on a "first come - first served" basis. Alternatively,
York has an excellent "Park and Ride" scheme, a leaflet for which can
be provided on request.
Cancellations
We are able to accept cancellations (which must be in writing by fax
or by e-mail) up to Friday 17 September 1999, after which the full
Seminar fee becomes payable. Please contact Wendy Huntington as
