Michael Kenward is quite right in his comments about the default
reply setting going to the sender rather than the group. I know I
keep slipping up with this.
However, there is a benefit! One member of this group has obviously
set up an autoreply to let people know he's away and when he'll be
back; this is mildly irritating when you, as sender, get this
information about a total stranger after every message you send to
the mailbase, but when autoreplies default to the entire group, all
hell breaks loose - I've experienced this twice on another mailbase.
It just keeps recycling ad infinitum, screwing up everyone's mailbox
with a million autoreplies from the same person, until the experts at
the mailbase can stop it!
