BAYS PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR - WALES
The British Association promotes understanding and development of science,
engineering and technology throughout the UK and illuminates their
contribution to cultural, economic and social life.
As a result of a successful National Lotteries Charities Board grant we are
currently seeking BAYS Project co-ordinator to develop a project to
celebrate science with BAYS science clubs throughout Wales. The project
officer will co-ordinate the scheme through administration and direct
contact with schools, be responsible for the organisation of the regional
science celebration fairs and will assist in the publicity of the project.
The ideal candidate will be:
… an enthusiastic and dynamic person who has the ability to work with a wide
range of people and venues
… a confident and effective self-starter with the potential to work from
home
… have an organised mind and an eye for detail
… able to demonstrate excellent communication and PR
… hold a clean and current driving licence
… interested in communicating science to a variety of audiences.

Salary negotiable. £5500 for 2.5 days (£11000 pro rata )
