have established a growing customer base in major museums, galleries,

PROJECT MANAGER
SSL is a software company with proprietary products, Index+ and
MUSIMS, for text and multimedia information management systems
with a growing market in the Museums/Galleries sector and in
the electronic publishing sector. Major and exciting new
commissions means that the company now requires a Project Manager
to play a leading role in the management and scheduling of all
projects and of the application development teams; We are looking
for a well qualified professional with technical experience, good
communication skills and relevant project management experience.
The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to the
application of software systems for the support of cultural
activities.
This is a new and challenging interdisciplinary area in which
the company is establishing a leading role. Current customers
include the British Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum,
London Transport Museum, Getty Images and a number of international
publishers.
The role of the Project Manager will be to assist Project Directors
to run projects to schedule and budget by establishing procedures,
assessing priorities, maintaining schedules, progress monitoring,
communicating with customers directly and reporting to management.
The successful candidate will probably hold a degree in a technical
or scientific subject and have a minimum of two years experience of
project management in technical or media applications. Salary will
be commensurate with experience.
