Practical knowledge management: measuring success
Wednesday 10th November 1999
Knowledge management (KM) is about using a set of skills and behaviours
to support business improvement and to meet business objectives.
Demonstrating the value and impact of KM activities is complex and
continues to be the subject of a wide-ranging debate. This seminar will
explore some of the approaches taken by different organisations, will
review the developments that are under way and will identify experience
relevant to the information manager facing the challenge of
demonstrating value within a KM programme
This is a seminar for those who want to explore emerging concepts within
an interactive environment in order to identify their success factors
for the application of information management within knowledge
management.
Attendees will be sent a short questionnaire beforehand. The results
will be collated for presentation at the start of the day and will be
used to inform the background against which the seminar will take place.
