Assistant Librarian (NHS Service Development)
Applications are invited for a post of Assistant Librarian. The applicant
should have a good Honours degree and a professional qualification in
librarianship and have at least one year's experience in a medical library.
The primary duties of the post will be liaison with, and promotion of
library services for, Training Grade Doctors in the Middlesex Hospital and
University College Hospital. Candidates should be IT literate, able to
communicate to a high standard, verbally and in writing and work
autonomously. Experience of group teaching and of managing a budget are
desirable.
Salary on AR1/2, i.e. £18,420-£26,613 including London Weighting.
