Hi,
There are a range of possible sources that you could try.
HEBS on CD is our own collection of databases that includes self help
and support groups. The CD is only available free in Scotland but the
databases can be found on our website - http://www.hebs.scot.nhs.uk. It
gives a leaflet called QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ABOUT POLYCYSTIC DISEASE
produced by the BRITISH KIDNEY PATIENT ASSOCIATION tel. 01420 472021.
You could also try HelpBox produced by the Help for Health Trust,
http://www.hfht.demon.co.uk
Other Internet sources of leaflets and support groups include
Contact a Family - http://www.cafamily.org.uk/
Charities Direct - http://www.caritasdata.co.uk/index.htm
The Health Site database from the BBC -
http://cgi.bbc.co.uk/education/health/database/index.htm
Healthfinder (US Govt) - http://www.healthfinder.gov
Patient UK - http://www.patient.co.uk/
RCGP Pamphlets - http://www.rcgp.org.uk/faculty/severn/frames.htm
The Telephone Helplines Association - http://www.helplines.org.uk/
Mentor - http://www.mentor-update.com/ then go to UK Self Help Groups
Hope this helps.
