Here at Nottingham Trent we are embarking on a project to allow users to
request items electronically. We're therefore looking for data from anyone
who is using electronic means to generate ILL request forms. The sort of
thing we are after would include:
- how many ILLs have you received since offering the electronic option?
- is this figure greater than before the option was offered?
- how many of the requests have been actioned?
- what has been the impact on the ILL budget?
- has there been an increase/decrease in staff time servicing requests?
These are some of the issues we'd like to pursue, but they are not the only
ones - I'd be very pleased to receive comments on any issue to do with the
use of electronic ILLs; I'm particularly interested in any
statistics/figures you can give me.
