Education for Change (EfC), a growing London-based company working in the
education, cultural and information sectors, wishes to appoint a Research
Project Manager.
EfC currently manages or is involved with a wide range of projects in the
UK and internationally, funded by bodies such as the Asian Development Bank
and the World Bank, European Commission, DFID, and Library and Information
Commission as well as individual authorities and organisations. Among its
areas of strength are Information Society Technologies and their impact on
users; and international education development. Further information is

The postholder will undertake a range of work in connection with research
and its implementation on projects managed or supported by EfC. Reporting
to the company Directors, they will carry out desk research, focus group
and workshop facilitation, interviews, questionnaire surveys and other
research activities and will be responsible for data analysis,
report drafting and the supervision of project Web sites. They will also be
responsible for providing management and financial reports on projects to
clients. The development of specialist knowledge within the domain areas
covered by
EfC will be encouraged. The postholder is likely to become actively
involved in proposal writing
