In reply to Danielle, here is the current licence and technical
situation for off-campus access to NESLI and JSTOR electronic
journals:
Electronic journals available through NESLI may be accessed from
off-campus locations without licence restriction (i.e both in and
outside the UK), as access is governed by the NESLI Model
Licence <http://www.nesli.ac.uk/nesli8a.html> which allows such
use.
Validation for such use by ATHENS Personal Accounts is available
from the NESLI Logon page <http://www.nesli.ac.uk/cgi-
bin/loginpage>. At present off-campus access via ATHENS to
some full-text data stored on publishers' own servers (as opposed
to SwetsNet) is not implemented, but we are hoping to remove this
restriction wherever possible.
Access to the JSTOR archive of electronic journals is currently
validated by IP address, but off-campus access using ATHENS
Personal Accounts is planned. There is no licence restriction on off-
campus or non-UK access.
