Dear All,
Like Lesha I wasn't entirely sure what information the
examiners most wanted from my CV as an appendix - bare
career history, or some sense of why I had taken the career
path that I had?
I felt the latter was hard to achieve in a CV and so I
accompanied the CV - which was just my standard job one, it
was a useful exercise to have to revise it anyway! - with a
short "Career Profile" statement which went right back to
explaining where my interest in librarianship came from,
etc (short work experience stint as a teenager which is far
too old to be on my CV any more!), and why I had taken the
career decisions I had. Bit cheeky to put as an appendix
perhaps, but I got away with it (and it was short - less
than 1/2 a page). Just in case anyone would find that a
useful way round it..
