I am with you 100% viz the money question - the LA jobs supp is always
full of middle managerial level jobs paying as little as 18,000 pa - I
am qualified (Assistant lib sc 5) and unsupervised here and get termtime
only pay which works out at very little as I am only 25 hrs pw.
How can awareness be raised? It seems that private sector and IT/Web
type library jobs pay much more - the public sector needs to realise our
value, and pay accordingly. Polly Mortimer
