Brunel University, Middlesex, UK, is hosting a one-day workshop
on THE ETHICS OF TRUST AND RESPONSIBILITY, December 3rd 1999.
There will be 6 speakers and an audience of approx. 30.
There is no charge for attendance.
Papers are requested, from any angle, not necessarily
philosophical. They could be, for example, about your
experience in museums or related areas. The full call for
papers is below:

'Trust' is generally defined as a resting on the integrity of
another; of moral obligation with a relationship of reliance.
'Responsibility' suggests moral accountability. Papers are
invited which explore the linkages between these concepts and
demonstrate their relevance to the ethical challenges of social
and organisational change - whether in the private, public, or
charity/voluntary sectors.
The workshop will be held at Buckinghamshire Chilterns
University College, Chalfont St Giles, Bucks., UK.
