I have e-mailed Chris privately with the name of a local Speech and
Language Therapist who could complete an assessment as the educational
psychologist may have decided that the communication disorder was an
important factor related to the student's study difficulties.
Semantic/pragmatic disorder and many language difficulties (e.g.
underlying dysphasia) can be quite hard to name precisely when carrying
out a WISC or WAIS.
