Welcome to say Good-bye to Internet!
PLANET INTERNET!
A seminar, a party, a visit, a book
You are welcome to the Viktoria Institute and Göteborg, the 20th of
January, 2000, to hear about and discuss the results of the Internet
Project, to receive a copy of the final report, the book PLANET INTERNET
(Studentlitteratur 2000), visit the Viktoria Institute, and experience the
first great party of the year. The book PLANET INTERNET (eds, Kristin Braa,
Carsten Sørensen, Bo Dahlbom) is meant as a text book on varieties of
Internet use. We hope that some of you will find it useful in your teaching.
The Internet Project has been a four-year cooperation between the
Departments of Informatics in Göteborg and Oslo, and a great number of
researchers in Scandinavia. The project has been a cluster studying
different aspects of Internet use, e.g., communication, mobility, and new
ways to working.
The seminar takes place at the 20th of January, 2000, at Volvosalen,
Handelshögskolan, Vasagatan 1 in Göteborg, a stone's throw away from the
Viktoria Institute at Viktoriagatan 13. After the seminar there is a
cocktail-party at theViktoria at 19.00, when we will show applications that
have been developed in the project, and after that there will be a great
party for all the participants in the seminar.
Please, let us know by the 10th of January 2000 if you plan to attend. Send
your email to Delise Arvidsson, [log in to unmask] Space is limited
