CALL FOR PAPERS AND PARTICIPATION
12th AUSTRALIAN JOINT CONFERENCE ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
AI'99 -- Sydney, Australia, 6-10 December 1999

The Australian Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence
are annual major events which concentrate on research and development
of AI technologies and their applications in areas of scientific, social,
and economic importance for countries in the Asia-Pacific region, but
which have also drawn participants from North America and Europe.
The AI-99 will be the twelfth and will be held from 6 Dec to 10 Dec 1999
at the Coogee Holiday Inn, Coogee Beach, Sydney, Australia and organized
by the University of New South Wales which is one of the largest AI
research institutions in Australia. The program committee reflects the
growing international character of this conference.
This is a call for technical papers for the Conference and Symposium,
and Workshop and Tutorial proposals. Details may be found in the AI'99
website http://www.cse.unsw.edu.au/~ai99.
Note: Paper submission due date is 2 July 1999. Electronic submission
is the default.
Publication: Both the Conference and Symposium submissions will be
critically reviewed by international referees, and the accepted papers
published. Accepted papers will either be presented or poster displayed,
but all accepted papers will appear in the respective Conference and
Symposium official proceedings in long or short form. The Conference
proceedings will be published in the Springer Verlag LNAI series.
Symposium proceedings will be published under the UNSW banner.
Workshop organizers are free to decide on how their papers can be published.
