Chris, you had me going there, with your ironic take on poetico-political
darwinism, us all locking antlers for a place in the next edition of
"Other Men's Flowers". It was all that rubbish about "some notions of
KWALITEE" - the last tired plea of a closed mind - which started me
guessing, then when you said:
> I am the product of
> my prejudices and that's the way I want to stay, they are afterall my
> prejudices.
- I was sure you were hamming, I mean that Alf Garnett bit is too obvious!
Then when you got to associating the Cambridge Colleges with pluralism,
wow! I really gagged - I mean no-one's going to buy that are they? And
finally:
> So let's not have openness
> and pluralism, let's keep warring on what gets read, by whom and why. It's
> much more fun, and we can get to slag off all the boring arid bastards we
> know and love...
- Great spoof, man! Completely over the top! Loved it!
