Subject:  UCISA-MIS Group Conference '99, 'MIS Without Walls'

I am delighted to take this opportunity to invite you to the
premier event
in the University MIS calendar.  This year, the Annual Conference
is taking
place at The Imperial Hotel on the North Promenade, Blackpool.  The
event
runs from Wednesday November 10th to Friday November 12th.  This
invitation
is to ensure that you fix these dates into your diary, and consider
making
an on-line booking for the event.  Places are limited, and
available on a
first-come, first-served basis.  The closing date for bookings is
Friday
October 15th, 1999

This year's conference will be of the highest quality with a range
of
excellent and informed presenters, and an expanded exhibition of
suppliers
to the MIS market place.  We are pleased to welcome speakers from
within
the sector, practitioners from our own ranks, and executive
supplier
representatives.

session
titles, together with a list of exhibitors.  

In addition, the Annual General Meeting of the Group takes place at
Conference.  You will find the AGM papers at the Conference

including a link to an elections nomination form.  The MIS Group is
reliant
on volunteer effort to organise its various activities through the
year,
and provide a representative voice at a national level in related
initiatives.  We therefore seek nominations to the Committee.  If
