David,
Coghlan, HH (1956) In Notes on Prehistoric and early iron in the old world, including a metallographic and metallurgical examination of specimens selected by the Pitt Rivers Museum
Includes an analysis of a broad head arrow from Woodeaton Oxon (similar in shape to Royal Armouries arrow head class IX.95.0)
I am not sure if that is mentioned in Coglan & Tylecote (1978)
also
The Medieval Catalogue, London Museum ( 1940) pp 65 - 73 plate xv and fig 16 and 17 ( now the Museum of London)
this is a useful typology, including archaeologically dated arrow heads.
I still use this typology when talking about different shapes of head, does any one found anything more recent / better?
I can send you copies if it is useful.
