Dear Colleague,
Invitation to the 2nd Seminar in Biostatistics and Epidemiology.
Arranged by the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, Imperial
College School of Medicine.
This is the second in a series of seminars that have been arranged to
explore methodological issues in and links between biostatistics and
epidemiology. Starting in December, 1998 it is envisaged that these
seminars will be held once monthly.
DATE AND VENUE: Thursday 21st January 1999 at 4.00p.m. In the Committee
Room, Ground Floor, St. Mary's Hospital Medical School. Norfolk Place,
London, W2 1PG. U.K.
The seminar will be given by Dr. Ben Armstrong who is a Senior Lecturer at
the Environmental Epidemiology Unit, London School of Hygiene & Tropical
Medicine.
PROGRAMME:
TIME: 16.00hrs.
TITLE: Effects of exposure measurement error in epidemiology: developing a
"common sense".
After the seminar, cheese and wine will be served.

The titles of his talks will be "Health Effects of PM Air Pollution:

Methods in Recent Air Pollution Epidemiology".
