ESRC CASE RESEARCH STUDENTSHIP

Do you have good analytic skills, computing and statistical aptitude ?
The Institute of Social Research seeks to fill a three-year ESRC CASE Ph D
studentship from October 1999. The person selected will work on electronic
documentation of the Department of Social Security Family Resources Survey.
Time will be divided between the University campus at Guildford, 35 miles
south west of London, and DSS Headquarters near Charing Cross in central
London.
The award covers all postgraduate tuition fees, a maintenance grant of at
least
stlg7,800 tax free and travelling expenses. There is an additional allowance
for students age 26 and over. A good relevant upper second or first class
honours degree or a masters degree is required; students graduating in
1999 are eligible.
