in Computationally Intensive Statistical Methods
Applications are invited for two Departmental Lecturerships, one in
Mathematical Genetics/Bioinformatics and one in Computationally
Intensive Statistical Methods. Both posts are tenable from 1 October
1999, for a period of 4 years, with the possibility of renewal for a
further 2 years. Salary is on a scale from UKP15,735 to UKP20,867 per
annum, according to age and experience.
Departmental lecturerships carry a relatively light teaching load with
the aim of encouraging the research career of the appointees. Both
posts fall in areas in which the Department already has leading
international research groups. Further information about the
