LECTURER IN STATISTICS
A Lecturer post
in Statistics in the Institute of Mathematics and
Statistics at the University of Kent at Canterbury is
available from 1st October 1999 or such a date as may be
arranged.
The successful candidate will be expected to
have a proven strong research
potential
in statistics or applied probability
and a commitment to excellence in teaching.
The research interests of current staff cover
Bayes theory, biometry and ecology, medical statistics,
chemometrics, spatial
statistics, wavelets and dynamic models.

on the Lecturer A/Lecturer B scale 16,665- 29,048 pounds.
