You’ll join an organisation which was set up to develop and license products
based upon proprietary drug delivery technology and which has now become a
major international provider of sophisticated drug delivery systems.
In support of the Company’s development programmes, you will provide a
comprehensive in-house statistical service and will manage all out-sourced
statistical projects. Reporting to the Clinical Manager, key aspects of your
role will include:
· advising on the statistical aspects of study design at all stages of
product development
· writing statistical analysis plans
· analysis and interpretation of clinical research data
· providing statistical reports in support of world-wide regulatory
submissions
· management of clinical and related data
To succeed in this challenging post you will have a degree in mathematics or
statistics, ideally backed by a post-graduate qualification. With a strong
grounding in biostatistics and some knowledge of pharmacokinetics, ideally
gained from 2 - 3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a
contract research organisation, you will be a self-starter with excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.
