Hello Fiona, at Liverpool John Moores we have a week of
ceremonies in July - 7 ceremonies in total, at the Anglican
Cathedral. Approx 500 /600 graduands at each ceremony. We
allocate seat numbers prior to the ceremony, students have
to register upon arrival and then, using teams of ushers do
a final check before the ceremony begins.Students also hand
a card to an usher as they are about to walk across the
stage as a last minute check. We don't charge for
attendance or for the ceremony brochure. We do charge for
catering - graduation lunches, strawberries & champagne
etc. All that side is handled by our corporate affairs
people. Students also get their certificates at the
ceremony. Hope this is helpful.
