Who Will Create The Metadata For The Internet?
by Charles F. Thomas and Linda S. Griffin
Louisiana State University

metadata for the Internet. This article examines the reasons why major
categories of information providers may not see metadata as a
worthwhile investment. Once these reasons are explained, the authors
offer an alternative solution to create a "metadata explosion."
