mmm interesting,
considering that most of the clinical presentations within a
physiotherapy department can be successfully diagnosed and treated with
the mckenzie protocol and that, for instance,unilateral low back pain
radiating to the buttock and/or thigh is essentially discal in oregon.
......a structure which is essentially radiologically translucent.
The use of x rays could be seen by some as a costly and meaningless waste
of time.
this is supported by the clinical standards advisory group (CSAG)
recommendations to GPs for low back pain i.e. that x ray is not indicated
during the acute phase.
