I encounter patient with similar problem. He presented with footdrop
after DHS. He has no past history of CVA or back problem. No neurological
investigation
was conducted though. However,his dorsiflexor strength improved after 6
month of therapy. On initial assessment his dorsiflexor was 0/5 but has
improved to 2/5. Probably, it will take a long rehabilitation process.
