Sir James Knott - Postdoctoral Fellowships
Applications are invited for one or more postdoctoral fellowships,
tenable for 2 years from 1 October 1999, from persons who have shown
themselves able to carry out original research. Appointments are
normally made to candidates in the first 10 years of their research
career. The stipend for each fellowship will normally be between
16,655 and 18,275 pounds per year.
Sir James Knott Fellowships
One or two fellowships available in any Faculty
The following additional fellowships may also be available:
Lord Adams Fellowship (Any Faculty, but candidates must have
connection, through family, residence, education or research
topic, with the former County of Cumberland)
Earl Grey Memorial Fellowship (Any Faculty, but candidates must
be graduates of the University of Newcastle upon Tyne)
