Hi All
Two helpful reminders:
Can I remind list members to include only the relevant passages of
previous messages in their replies to list (rather than the whole
preceding dialogue). In a long exchange or discussion, the messages
just get longer and longer if no-one deletes. Thanks.
Also, it is helpful to choose a subject heading that reflects the
subject matter of discussion. Two factors are important here. First, do
you want your reply to be archived next to the message you are
responding to? In this case, use the default reply option. Second, is
your reply taking the debate into a new area? If so, you might want to
change the subject header to something more appropriate.
So, for example, we have a very long list of messages archived under
the heading of 'polio documentray' but the debate has moved on to
matters concerning disability theory. If someone was looking through
the public archives, they could well miss this important debate by
misreading the message headers.
Best Wishes
