Not if you don't supply even a citation or any background details. It's
rather ironic that on patient orientated discussion lists I often have
to emphasise the need for providing full citations when referring to
medical research papers or any other sources of information for that
matter. I would also point out that despite all the discussions on the
subject you claim to have had, in the item you are referring to you did
not *comment* on anything. You offered an isolated statistic from an
unreferenced (in your post) study and asked for comment.

Provide something more substantive then! One of the first things you
examine in this type report is the population it is based upon.

I am supposed to ask you for more information or hunt around for the
abstract/article in order that I can make sense of the question that
