Dear colleagues,
our library (Berlin Central and Regional Library) is interested in the
development of new working-time models to cover for instance an
enlargement of opening hours. We are quite a big library in two
different biuldings in the center of Berlin, with a stock of 2.3 mill
volumes, 3.2 mill loans and 1.7 mill visitors in 1997 and about 50 hours
of opening during six days per week.
Does any library in the UK have experiences which could be helpful for
us?
Looking hopefully forward for your answer
and with kind regards from Berlin
