Dear Colleague,
I am pleased to announce the publication of the 1998 SIS Bulletin as
an electronic journal. The journal is hosted at the website of the
Italian Department of the University of Leeds and can be found at the
following address:
http://www.leeds.ac.uk/bsis
If you have Netscape 3 or above you should be able to view it without
difficulty. If you have an earlier version you should still be able to
view it, but without frames.
The version of the Bulletin is designed to replace the previous
printed version.
The Bulletin contains articles on: 1) websites for Italian
cinema; 2) Primo Levi as well as an interview with Michele Serra.
There are the usual conference reports as well as a listing of
forthcoming events. Searchable databases of staff research interests
and publications are under development and will be available in the
near future. The staff list contains up to date information on departments
in Britain and Ireland. Please remember to regularly 'reload' in order
to get the latest update.
I would welcome feedback on the journal. If you have any difficulties
in accessing the journal do get in touch.
With best wishes for the new academic year,
Phil Cooke
P.S Apologies for any cross-postings
