In my dissertation work on the pursuit of sexually intimate relationships
for men with c.p., one chapter is slated to include some historical data
on social attitudes toward and cultural meanings of cerebral palsy in
Western society (ies). Refs in this area are rather thin. I would
appreciate any leads for info. I am also seeking any historical info on
physical disabilities in general (especially early-onset). Refs for
early autobiographies of persons with c.p. would also be appreciated.
Also--what's the current word on Stiker's book? Is the translation due
out soon? Thanks,
