Actually, I guess I should emend my earlier post. It is not in the
EETS SEL edition edited by Charlotte D'Evelyn and Anna J. Mill. I
haven't checked the Carl Horstmann edition; it wasn't available at the
time in our library. Appendix V in D'Evelyn and Mill shows the legend as
appearing in one SEL MS, the British Museum MS Cotton Julius D. ix on fol.
201b. This was the only MS of the four consulted for this edition which
contained the legend. Do you know if this MS is available in facsimile or
if it has been edited elsewhere? Any other suggestions?
