Starting today, you are invited to participate in an on-line discussion
of links between industrial ecology and public policy, at
<http://policy.rutgers.edu/projects/ie.htm> .
This on-line forum follows an NSF workshop on the same subject, held at
the White House Conference Center in Washington DC earlier this year.
We seek to engage the full industrial ecology community in a discussion
of research-policy links. For researchers, what is a policy-relevant
research agenda? For policy-makers, what insights does industrial
ecology offer? For industry and NGOs, what are the new priorities?
What are industrial ecology's past achievements, current initiatives,
and future goals?
Visit the web site, review the workshop report, and post your comments
on the topic of linking industrial ecology and public policy. We look
forward to hearing from you.
