There are no guidelines for frequency of BP monitoring in the elderly at the
present. Expert opinion alone then suggests that we do it about monthly for
those in long term care with known problems with BP or those taking
medications which might adversely affect BP, even if asymptomatic, as
symptoms in this setting are notoriously unreliable. Hope this helps.
