The Property Market and Urban Development
TWO RESEARCH ASSOCIATES
Applications are invited from experienced social science researchers for
the above posts to investigate the impact of economic and social
structures and processes within the property market on urban
development. The work comprises interrelated case studies conducted at
national and urban levels, blending qualitative and quantitative
approaches. The posts, tenable for 16-18 months, will be based in the
Departments of Town and Country/Regional Planning, one at the UNIVERSITY
OF NEWCASTLE, the other at the UNIVERSITY OF SHEFFIELD. Skills in
interviewing and in the use of standard word-processing are required for
both posts. The Sheffield post also requires skills in spread-sheet
software. Salary will be #16,927 pa.
