Hi,
we are using the DC element set for a project at our university
and I need to write some examples on how they are used in HTML documents
for our users...
But how do I add the information about the type (i.e. IsBasedOn) of a
DC.Relation element to a meta tag?
This isn't correct, isn't it?
<META NAME="DC.Relation" SCHEME="URL" CONTENT="IsBasedOn http://www.foo.bar/">
And one last question...
The DC element set covers most of the meta information we need to encode
in our documents, but one additional meta information about the 'status'
of a page is needed. If a document refers to a project/software I need
to know the status of the project/software in question, if it is still
under development, finished, deprecated, obsolete or whatever.
An element like "DC.Status" is not available so I think I'm going to
use "DC.Type.Status"... or should I just invent a new element?
I wonder if there is a recommended way to extend the DC element set for
a specific application?
Regards...
