Dear all,
I am at present a final year physio student at Keele, UK. Like all of you
can remember, or if you have them looming, the prospect of sitting finals is
a nightmare. With the introduction of a modular system there isn't a great
weighting towards them, although they are worth more than previous exams.
My question is how many of you deem it necessary to examine undergraduate
students on the issues of management within the profession and the health
service (if your country operates one)? The general consensus amongst my
peer group is that we need to be aware of the area of management with
management coming down nowadays to more of a clinical level but do we need
to prove that we have a strong understanding of this?
I look forward to hearing your views and opinions.
Rich.
