I am a physical therapist currently working with a pediatric
population. I have searched several references for Nemaline myopathy,
but cannot seem to find out how to treat my patient. He is a 4 year old
boy with moderate pelvic and shoulder girdle weakness. His mother feels
that I have been too aggressive with his program.
Does anyone have experience with this disease or have any input as
to how aggressive I can be with this child? I might add that he loves
to "play" with me and I have not noticed any severe fatigue after our 30
minute sessions.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
