upcoming adverts on 2 Physical Geography Lectureships and one
Temporary Lectureship in Human Geography. They were advertised in
Tuesday's Guardian and today's THES. Closing date 27 March.

Basic details as follows: TWO LECTURESHIPS IN PHYSICAL
GEOGRAPHY from 1/9/98. Grade A scale 16,927 to 21,016 pounds p.a. or
exceptionally on Grade B scale to 27,985 pounds. Interests in
quaternary science, fluvial geomorphology and environmental modelling
particularly welcome.

TEMPORARY LECTURESHIP IN HUMAN GEOGRAPHY from 1/9/98.
At appropriate point on Grade A scale. Any area of human geography
but applications especially welcome from those with a background in
Political Geography, Social Geography and/or Political Economy who
can contribute to teaching on 'Global Change - Uneven Development'
as well as develop a third year option.
