Dear Christian:
Thanks for your previous (Aug 31) email clarifying the use of the
pairwise inferences feature in the efMRI toolkit.
I have a question related to an error I get when plotting the fitted
response after a pairwise inferences analysis
in which I chose to use a response form consisting of basis functions
(gamma functions with derivatives).
The design had two event types in addition to the following parameters:
1 session, 340 scans
4.0 sec FWHM temporal smoothing
hi-pass cutoff period 76 secs
grand mean = 100 AU
TR = 3 sec
UFp = 0.05
proportional scaling
So, my design matrix consisted of 6 effects of interest, pairwise
differences of 3 gamma basis functions and 3 derivatives.
My contrast tested for the overall effect modelled by the 3 gamma
"pairwise difference" basis functions: [1 1 1 0 0 0]
When I used the SPM Results utility to plot the fitted response, as well
as the fitted response and the adjusted data, I get the following error
message:
??? Index exceeds matrix dimensions.
Error in ==> /afs/alw.nih.gov/nimh/tellmore/SPM96/EFMRI/spm_graph.m
On line 119 ==> pst = PST(:,i);
I haven't had a problem with the plotting routines when using the "hrf
"and "hrf with time derivative options". Nor have I had a problem with
plotting after using the Fourier set option.
Can you shed any light on the cause of this error message?
Thanks,
Tim
