Just to say that the MGC's recent Fact Sheet on the changes to the
National Curriculum, mentioned in a previous email to the list, includes
examples of museums supporting literacy work - here are the details of
how to get hold of it, again...
The changing school curriculum in England deals with the September 1998
changes to the primary school curriculum in England, including the
National Literacy Strategy. Accompanying information about the National
Year of Reading, which began in September, is also available. Further
Fact Sheets on various aspects of museums and learning are planned.
Available free of charge from MGC Publications on 0171 233 4200, fax

MGC's full publications list.
