RESEARCH FELLOW IN MEDICAL STATISTICS/EPIDEMIOLOGY
Up to £22,726 per annum
The DEPARTMENT OF OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY'sDugaldBaird Centre Research
unit performs epidemiological and health services research on women's
health in the United Kingdom and internationally. You will conduct a
research project, funded by the Scottish Office, assessing the impact
of trends in maternal age on maternity services in Scotland. You
will also contribute to new research projects on reproductive health
within the Centre. You should hold a post-graduate qualification in
statistics, epidemiology or a related numerate discipline, with
experience of design, conduct and analysis of research projects
of a bio-medical nature. Appointment as a Grade II Research Fellow
may be offered to an exceptional candidate.
The post is full-time for 18 months from 1 October
