Subject: Medieval Czech history - sources in German or English
*** Please forgive cross-posting ***
I am looking for any kind of source on the history of Czech convents for
women, specifically the Benedictine convent formerly attached to St
George's Basilica in the Prague castle complex. (Basilika sv. Jiri na
Prazskem hrade). There is one book in the Ohio State U. Slavic collection
in Czech and German on the archaelogical excavation of the convent which
took place in the 70s when the building was converted into a part of the
National Gallery. While interesting, there wasn't much information. If
anyone has ideas on how to research this convent, the abbesses associated
with its founding/saints related to it - Mlada the Younger and Ludmila, etc
or knows anyone who may be able to help, please contact me.
Thank you!

p.s. I have friends in Germany & the Czech Republic who can obtain
literature unavailable in the States if I have citations to give them. : )
